Hello,

This is not a problem, just a request we had from a manager.
It's really a question of poor team management on their part, but I am going to sk anyway.

Is there a way to stop agents seeing who else is logged or not logged in to a call queue?
In the Windows Google Chrome client, in Switchboard, an agent can select their queue and see calls, and down the right edge of the screen a list of all the agents in the queue and it shows if they are logged in or not.
the manager would like agents to only see if they themselves are logged in and not the other agents.

This is because the agents in the queue are all complaining about each other when they are not logged in, which is basically none of their business because there are many valid reasons why someone isnt logged in. Therefore this is a manger issue not a 3cx issue.

but it's an interesting question. I know we can prevent a user from seeing other users presence etc (extension- group rights) but I don't think this stops agents seeing other agents log in status.
Is it possible. I have told them it is not possible, but if there is a way it would be good to know.

Many thanks

Hi @GBC_James,

There isn't a way to disable seeing who is logged in to the queue. I would liken this to being in a room and not seeing who else is in there with you, I guess you could blindfold the people but why would you need to? As you mentioned it seems to be a management issue more than a 3CX one. Maybe the agents need to have more work assigned so they have less time to check on their colleagues ;)

Thanks VasilisV_3CX, I thought as much. Good explanation too.

I pretty said as much, maybe speak to each team member and tell them to get on with their work and let managers worry about managing the team. I'm not sure they have the backbone though.;)
Thank you my friend.
