I had a user complain that they'll be in the middle of dialing a number on their Yealink T46S handset when an incoming call will come in and interrupt their dialing. They'll press Ignore and then have to start over dialing the number.
Is there any simple setting that would resolve this?
If not, since the calls are distributed from a queue, I think I could make a CFD that would allow the user to press a key prior to dialing that would log them out, wait x seconds, and then log them back in. Just wanted to check if there was an easier approach.

This is normal phone behavior, the same thing happens on our mobile phones too.
You can look up Yealink's documentation and they might have a setting for this, it really comes down to what the manufacturer can offer you.

Since you are in a queue, I can suggest some alternative you can try out and see if it works for you:

a) Log out, do what you need, and log in again - you have to rely on the agents being honest though and not staying logged out for too long. You might also need a supervisor to keep an eye on everyone and make sure they log back in.

b) Make use of the wrap up time instead. Experiment with the time to find one that better suits your needs. This will give the agent some time to dial if they need to.
