I have my DID number inbound-mapped to my IVR with "press 1 for Bob, 2 for Stephanie". It works fine, except... When I get a call from my partner who is running an Asterisk PABX and Grandstream phones, and he presses 1, my 3CX sees "111". For the time being I added an unregistered extension 111 that I ruled to my extension, so he still gets through to me. But this is strange. He claims that DTMF-ing from his phone works normally when not calling me...

Any one have any ideas?

I suspect that you are receiving both inband and out of band DTMF. That would normally result in double digits, not sure why you are getting 3.

Bob,

It is the case which requires wireshark capture of incoming network traffic. As you specified, it works fine until your friend tries to use your IVR (using "*")
Could you please ask him to help you to collect information?

Thanks
