I'm trying to get my CRM integration to work, but when we get an incoming caller we get +12223334444 as the phone number so when it goes to look up who the customer is, unless inside our system (syncromsp / repairshopr) the customers number starts +1, then it cannot find the customer. Is there a way we can strip +1 from our incoming caller ID before it looks this up in the CRM? or a way we can enter it into the CRM xml that it can look for *2223334444 ?

*edit* delete me. Sorry guys :) Found under siptrunks where I can edit inbound call id. Thanks.

You can actually use the Advanced > Contacts > Options > Match X number of digits and put 10. Whatever the CID sent, it will always only take the last 10-digits.

I prefer to do it this way as to know mess with other CID-dependant features. ;)
