Strip special characters

is there anyway to strip special characters (Dash - periods . ) from cell number fields, besides going into each mailbox???
AND DOES O365 integration overwrite the values each sync??

No there's no other way to strip characters, but if you use O365, you can have them set without special characters and the sync would indeed overwrite every time (it syncs during night if my memory serves.)
