Read our guide on how to configure a SIP Trunk / VoIP Provider. This covers the generic steps required to configure a trunk with 3CX. Take note of the below special configuration requirements for swisscom Smart Business Connect:

• Not compatible with Hosted by 3CX.
• Enter the main trunk number as E164.
• Install the eSBC device provided by Swisscom on your LAN between the router and 3CX

Thanks for that document.
Just wondering - why do you ask for "Firewall Checker passed" and "Firewall SIP ALG checked" when the SIP server is actually in the LAN (the Cisco box that, as I understand it, created a separate circuit to the Swisccom voice network) ?

Hi @A.Takacs

You are right in that systems with providers that offer local CPE devices do not actually need to pass the firewall checker for the provider part but this is something we always recommend to make sure that the PBX is set up correctly so we leave it in the guides. If everything is local and you have no remote extensions etc then you can skip that part.
