The Office 365 synchronisation is already in use for one user and works well. But when i want to add a O365 Shared Mailbox i couldn't see the shared mailboxe. I can only see two mailboxes in that section that are definitely no shared mailboxes. One Mailbox isn't a mailbox anymore and the other is a Exchange Kiosk Mailbox. But when i look under User Sync (Sync O365 users with 3CX Extension) i can see the Shared Mailbox.

What can i do to resolve the problem?

Thanks a lot!
Oliver

I have the same problem and after several hours of testing I think I was able to identify the issue:

1)Mailboxes that were INITIALLY created as "Shared Mailboxes" are always shown in the shared mailboxes tab, even if they were later converted into "Regular Mailboxes".

2)More importantly, mailboxes that were INITIALLY created as "Regular Mailboxes" are always shown in the User mailboxes tab, even if they were later converted into "Shared Mailboxes". They do not appear under the shared mailboxes tab, even though (according to Exchange Online Powershell) they have been successfully converted.

So how can this happen?

3CX draws all Office 365 data from the Microsoft Graph API.
Apparently there is a flag identifier stored somewhere in the Graph API, which 3CX uses to distinguish between "regular" and "shared" mailboxes. This identifier is set at the creation of the mailbox and does not change, when you convert it. Unfortunately, I was not able to find any clue, which identifier 3CX is using here?

Can anyone help with this?

That's it.

The Mailbox was a licensed Mailbox before we decided to convert it to a Shared Mailbox. So we deleted the Mailbox now and created a new shared mailbox from scratch. Without further problems.

For the next case. Does someone know which flag MS uses that 3CX can't identify an converted Mailbox as Shared Mailbox?

Thanks to PA-plus for your info. It helped a lot!
