System owner password and extension V20

Neither the system owner username or ext (100) appear in the list of users, this is creating several problems. I have access as a system administrator but how can I send the system owner a password reset? And how can I modify options on their extension? Like add an IP phone, place them in a department etc, don't see anyplace to do these things. The only place there is any mention of the system or license owner is under System - License and System - Options, this is the only place I even see their extension. Obviously I'm missing something here...

To be able to see a System owner extension on V20 you need to log in using that System owner extension or another extension with the System owner role.
Extensions that do not have the system owner role cannot see other system owner extensions, so to configure ext 100 you either need to log in with extension 100 or with another extension that is also a system owner.

Thank you Nikolas but this seems like a bad plan. Going forward it may be best for us to use an alternate name and email address for set up as opposed to the real business owner in order that we may manage their extension like everyone else's. The only other option is for them to provide us with their password any time we need to make a change to their extension or to make us Partners System Owners as opposed to System Admins.
