System Prompts?

Looking at the menus settings nad system prompts I see laods of system prompts but how do i get them to work.

For example if I dial extension 70 which is not set up I just get a beeping sound in the phone not the system prompt 'destination is not available,not registered or there are no routes available'
Some prompts seem to wrk thou like the mail box ones.

The prompts work out of the box. In the case you mentioned above, you need to set some forwarding rules for extension 70 for the corresponding prompt to work.

I thought that as I hadnt created an extension 70 3cx would know it doesnt exist and give the prompt ''destination is not available,not registered or there are no routes available'

Its obviously not as intelligent as I'm thinking.
