I've noticed when trying to add a legacy phone today that I do not see the Yealink T29G in the menu. It goes from T27G to T30P, skipping T29G. Any reason? What work around do I have?

Please see the supported IP phones listed here: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/. The IP Phone mentioned is now End of life and no longer supported for provisioning on 3cx.

You may also see this guide regarding manually connecting the IP phones: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t20p-t22p-t26p-t28p/, but please note that we only provide support when supported IP phones are used.

You may also see this guide: https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/yealink-firmware-release/

With Update 6, Yealink T29G, T46G and T48G models will again be supported! You can configure them directly through the Web Client / Management Console.

I'm also running into this with the CP960 conf. phone, sold to us by a 3CX approved vendor months back, yes months back because everything needs to be ordered at least a year out with the worldwide supply issues. It seems I should see a "Legacy" section when "Adding a new phone" on Version 18.0 Update 5 (build 418) but there isn't. Yet there is on v18.0 Update 3 (build 461) there is a Legacy section and the CP960 is listed. I would be completely happy with the old firmware version as it worked just fine, we have them running at other sites.

Any suggestions?

Wait for Update 6, this one might be returning
