T48S Will Provision but wont act like it has in the management console

I have a T48s which has allowed me to provision it. Everything has come up on screen like my BLF keys and the phone is acting like I would normally expect it to.

The problem is in the management console it is still showing as an unprovisioned phone.

Can anyone help with this issue?

I fixed this by manually adding the phone via the mac address rather then the assign extension in the dashboard

Hi Chris,

If the MAC does not exist anywhere, then yes it will always show as unprovisioned.

A bit curious though as to how you had provisioned it in the first place, since the way we do it would prevent auto provisioning if the MAC address was missing (ie. the config file will not be generated for that device).

Did you perhaps provision it once successfully, and then later deleted the phone from the extension?
That would be sufficient cause the situation you described.
