T54W does not go into DND when phone button is pressed

We have experienced this for several months. Our T54W does not go into DND when phone button is pressed. This is verified by the desktop app. The only way to truly go into DND status is to use the app.

Do you work with a 3CX partner? As access to the machine the 3CX system is installed, will that be required to resolve this issue?

The firmware that the phones have is an issue and will need to be removed to update them to the correct version.

We have limited access to a 3CX partner. I manage most of it here. I had briefly read there were some firmware issues but was surprised that a new firmware hasn't been released to fix this.

We have 40 phones here, what is the easiest process? Or where is it detailed?

In this case, I can only suggest opening a support ticket with 3CX technical support to provide us access to the system backup end via SSH terminal access as the root user.

I actually found this process in the forums:

1. Go to Phones, Options, check Allow Alternative Firmware, OK to save
2. Dashboard, Updates, downloaded needed 0.74 firmware for phones you have
3. Phones, select phones, Firmware. It should now offer the 0.74 firmware, along with non-3CX firmware. Choose the 0.74 firmware and upgrade the phones.

I have downgraded to 96.86.0.74 and am still experiencing the problem.

I believe that the phones will update again to the incorrect version once they reprovision, and this will not work unless the old firmware is removed, which requires access to the machine via SSH to do so, which we will need to do.
