T54W replacing T54S

Has anyone used the T54W successfully with 3CX? We just tried to place an order for T54S and our supplier is saying Yealink discontinued the T54S.

I thought the W simply added wireless capabilities built-in. I may be wrong. Probably the 54S template would work fine.... I'm sure the Wireless Part can not be programmed though.

I had noticed the Yealink website updated the model number and the 54S firmware files were much harder to find on the support page.

3CX should get template updates at some stage soon.

As the 54W appears to be a new phone, you will have to wait until 3CX releases the correct template.

In the meantime, you could manually provision them

Hi, I am currently testing T54W in Wifi Enabled mode (Without network Cable) using a T54S template. The phones do perform basic functions but show incorrect time which needs manual adjustment. Desperately looking for a template from 3CX as this will open quite a few doors for us where people don't want to spend any money on cabling or the need these phones in listed buildings where they do have good wifi but no RJ45 Infrastructure.

Please let me know if you hear anything from 3CX
