T58a Teams edition to 3cx

We have a Yealink t58a Teams edition phone that we would like to use with our 3cx.
I tried to install the 3cx firmware 1553755231964.83.0.25.rom, but received this error message.

Firmware update failed! Please import SIP license to continue...

The licence listed under the phone status is eternal.
Any tips or ideas how to get this phone to work with 3cx?

NEVER install the 3CX firmware on a Teams phone. You risk bricking it.

I guess I need to return it then - maybe they sent us the wrong one. Are all T58a phones "Teams Edition"?

No they are not, I have the non-teams version sitting next to me, and it works well. I even added the camera on top.

Here, this is the seller i got mine from months ago, then just snag the camera elsewhere if you want it.

If you open a ticket with Yealink they may be able to send you the correct firmware to convert it. If you bought from an official distributor (like 888Voip) they may be able to help as well. Otherwise yes you'd need to return for the open SIP version.
