As the title indicates.. I've been preparing phones and using the 2-step workaround found in another thread here to go from 96.86.0.81 to 96.86.0.118, then to 96.87.0.16. This part is going fine.
A potential headache I've noticed is that when a v87 phone gets factory reset, upon first boot the UI requires the admin password be changed. The workaround I have noticed is to delete the phone from 3CX and then add it again, which I'm assuming re-creates the RPS. After that, rebooting the phone does pull the config and resumes normal operation.
