TAPI & PATTON 4114

Hi people!

When i try to use TAPI features with patton 4114 i got this error:

From outlook i call a phone number, my desk phone rigns, i accept the call, the system try to transfer to outside number via PSTN but i have this error

"Unsupported media type"

and no transfer possible.

The same procedure through VOIP providers work well.

Any ideas?

Hi Matt,

this is a known issue with Patton 4114 firmware version 4.2 released after March or version 5.1.

Please go to the firmware version 4.2 dated March and try with this firmware.

If the issue persists with this firmware it is recommeded you do open a support ticket with support and submit all nessesary logs

to update to 4.2 i also must change the config file because now i have the 5.1 and it's not possible because all line are in use....

so there is no possibility to use TAPI with this device? i have also updated to latest firmware 5.2 but same problem

Hi,

no snom here, we use spa921.

I'm thinking to buy a licenced version for use this feature, but if this not work with my patton :cry: i think to stay with free version... :roll:

I hope somebody solve the problem... there is now a new firmware for patton 411x...
