This post is purely for informational purposes due to a rise in forums cases in regards to setting up 3CX with well known world-wide SIP trunking provider TATA communications.
I have written and documented this process (attached) in December 2019 and sharing in the hope that it will assist others wishing to do this as the setup demands quite different guidelines in regards to the 3CX system and deployment/configuration of the trunk itself.
TATA require an on-premise server with 2 x NIC cards (one connecting to their network) and one the customer premise. The trunk must be setup and register to their SBC - not completely unlike the supported setup for Asian trunking provider Singtel: https://www.3cx.com/docs/asia-sip-trunk-singtel/
