Well, I've tried the past hours to get the TEL: protocol to work on my Windows machine (Win 10 x64 Pro), using the 3CX Windows App (v 15.5.12227.5). The TEL protocol is properly set in the configuration. I downloaded the 3CX click-to-call extension. Tried it using the web client and Windows client. Didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled .NET framework and C++ redistributable and enabeling all .NET features, but this broight no solution. Even the command line execution of 3cxclicktocall.exe --dial <phoneno> or calltriggercmd.exe --dial=<phoneno> didn't work. If I change the TEL: procedure and connect to the Skype app it works just fine. How can I get this working and get rid of my SIP hardware?

Actually it works for the web client now after a reboot, but the Windows App is not responding to any phone number cklicked on a website. And what is the actual status for using ClickToCall that you need a pro license to use it? If so, why does the web client works and the Windows app doesn't?

I'm facing the same problem. But I could not find any information about this is only available in a PRO license.
On the "edition comparison" website, the STANDARD license will have full ClickToCall option.
I cannot understand why the Windows Client should be something special.

Just got a confirmation from the support desk that the TEL (or any) protocol with 3cxclicktocall and the 3cx windows app doesn't work when using a standard license. The web-client does work. So the search to another windows app is on now. Bye 3cx windows app :-(

I've recieved same information from 3CX support about Standard/PRO license: Standard edition supports 3CX Web, PRO supports 3CX Windows client, BUT, I was able to integrate 3CX Web with 3CX Windows client.
You just need to install 3CX Windows client, Install 3CX Extenstion for Chrome, login in to web-client (make sure you have green phone icon) and voila.

Hi Petrucho, 3cx extension for Chrome = 3cxClickToCall?
My phone icon is blue, not green.
Unsuccesful so far....

3cx extension for Chrome = 3cxClickToCall? Yes.
In 3CX ClickToCall Chrome Extenstion you have to write in URL (path) to Web client.
