Hi,

it's really nice that you can use your existing telephone book on your smartphone with 3cxPhone (for Android or iOS). I experience the issue, that the number has to formatted in a specific way to work. Many numbers

look like
+49 173 XXXXXX
where
  • +49 is the country code and
  • 173 the city or mobile network code without the zero

Those calls won't process. How do you handle this? Using outgoing rules? Or is there an easier way? I think forcing everbody to edit their phonebook won't work.

You would have to modify settings in 3CX to handle the +

Have a look at this, and the link within...

Hi leejor,

thanks for pointing me to the post.

The image, which is showing the configuration is not available. But I figured it out. In my case I just had to add:
Add Prefix: 0
(was empty before)

Works like a charm

In V14 it's Settings->PBX->E164 (for other people looking)
