Hi,
I am trying to send a message through 3cx to a remote SIP server. Created Trunk connections between them. Calls are going flawlessly but when I try to send a message through, 3cx replies back with 403 forbidden. I have set up Telnyx messaging service and added the route too. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

The 3CX SMS integration is designed to work for sending/receiving messages to and from a specific list of SMS Supported Providers which you can see in the dropdown list when adding an SMS service. Also, bear in mind this is not done by setting up a SIP Trunk with these providers but you have to specifically set the account up in the Management Console SMS section. That said, it goes without saying that you cannot send/receive SMS from any other configured SIP Trunk either.

You can check out this guide for more information on how to setup it up here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/sms-text/

Make sure you have your correct +12345678901 number format in your 3CX outgoing SMS info, otherwise Telnyx will likely refuse to permit the text to send.

Thank you. Read the post and put in the correct format also, opened the ports. It works now.
