Hi all.
This is my fist ever post of any kind so please be gentle with me :)
I have been requested by a client to host an on prem 3CX with a SIP provided by Telstra (This is not negotiable at this stage)
I fully understand that the OneAccess 420 unit supplied to deliver the SIP trunk is not supported by Telstra!!
I have reached out to Telstra Business SIP but all I get from them is "Contact your PBX Guy!!!"
The Telstra dealer has assured the client that it will work so I am stuck in the middle!
I have the following physical setup:

Internet --> Meraki FIrewall --> (LAN - OneAccess unit at 192.168.xxx.50 and PBX at 192.168.xxx.51) [All port forwarding rules are in place]

Have tried every possible PBX profile on the OneAccess to no avail.
I cannot get the PBX to register with the OneAccess unit (Southbound side)
I can receive incoming calls on the sip trunk but cannot make calls
The OneAccess shows that the PBX is not registered.
Has anyone managed to get this to work by some small chance?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rhys, thanks I have seen that and it is not for the product that they are supplying.
The product that I have been supplied consists of a OneAccess Modem / Router with a Northbound config that they setup (I have no access to it) which in turn connects via an Internet connection to their "Special SIP network"
The customer then has to configure this OneAccess unit's Southbound side to present the SIP trunk.
Here is a link to the OneAccess guide that I have been supplied.
https://www.telstra.com.au/content/...ncing/pdf/business-sip-installation-guide.pdf
I have the setup that starts on page 37 and ends on page 38.
Thanks heaps.

Have you run a packet capture from the PBX while trying to make an outbound call to see if you can see anything there?

The port forwarding rules are irrelevant for a premise-based PBX since the traffic isn't passing through the firewall, or at least shouldn't be. And I'm confused because you say you can receive calls but then you also say you aren't registered. If the Telestra dealer assured the customer it will work, then have them provide the settings, at or at least what profile in the OneAccess unit you should be using, or have them provide the contact information for someone who has it working.

Hi All

We had this working last week (v16 update 3) until an update to v16 update4 yesterday.
QIT, if you haven't updated to latest, happy to share the config (thanks to R4+Z), but you will need access to the OneAccess 425 NTU.

R4+Z do you know of any changes to udpate 4 that would affect outbound calls? Inbound working just fine.
The OneAccess unit can make external calls directly from it?

Thanks In Advance
Orhan
