The power company is going to work in our area and we are going to be without power for 2 days. We have out PBX on premise. I'm planning to backup, turn off and restore in a VM in the cloud. I'm not sure what to do when we return to the office. Should I just power off the VM and power on the "On Premise" PBX? Or should I make a backup of the VM and restore in the other one? I don't need the call log for those 2 days. We have a PRO license.

Please advise.

Henry

Once done, just kill the cloud VM and turn on the other one. Make sure networking is in Dynamic mode to allow the Fqdn to update between the two.

Make sure people use voicemail to email or that you export any new voicemails and give to the users before deleting the cloud vm.

Great, Thank you.

why you don't just leave it in the cloud to combat situations like this in the future?
