Hi There, I have just installed 3CX on one of my VM's the Debian 3CX provided by 3CX

I have followed the YouTube tutorial and I created a new extension for a user and did not receive the email to get the configuration file so I checked the Mail Server in settings and I believe we need the SMTP Server in order to send the email via 3CX on premises portal

When I am using the 3CX SMTP Server and clicked on Test I am getting the following error
"The remote certificate was rejected by the provided RemoteCertificateValidationCallback."

I also tried to use the custom server and MS365 with my account but getting the following error for these 2 options.
"Access certificate is not generated."

Is there any platform where I can learn 3CX Basic and Advance? The YouTube has the video but they are 2 years old and not very helpful.

Hi, please when using https access try to do it via FQDN and not via IP address.

But the issue here is your ssl certificate, you can check your domain here

It is missing the intermediate certificates...




Please give it a try using Hosted by 3CX with a 3CX FQDN to avoid these kind of issues...

Hi Alejandro, please find the attached screenshot where I am using FQDN but still getting the same error. I don't want to use the 3CX hosted platform. I want to use my on-premises 3CX

The issue here is your ssl certificate, it is missing the intermediate certificate.

I also gave you a link so you can check the domain by yourself and check the ssl error.

And if you access from an external network via https the certificate looks different:

This server could not prove that it is Xxxx.3cx.co.nz; its security certificate is from pbx.Xxxxx.net.nz. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

That must be fixed first, then after that give it a try

Your issue here is different, it seems that there is a proxy on your firewall which is changing the certificate:
