The Windows client and the IP phones, do they have to be in the same subnet for using CTI?

The Windows client and the IP phones, do they have to be in the same subnet for using CTI? We would like to have the phones in a different subnet than the Computers with the Windows client, but does the CTI work in different subnets? The 3CX is in the cloud..

They have to be reachable, but not necessarily on the same subnet. You just need routing between your subnets to make it work.

That's how we did it here and it works (PCs and phones on separate VLANs)
