Hi All,

I have a call flow configured with 3CX, and one of the options is to connect to an operator outside the PBX. I have it simply set to transfer the call to: "+61 2xxxx xxxx". However my SIP provider does not allow the "From" field in the sip connection to be any number, it must be a number I own.

Is there any way to get 3CX to transfer a call, and use the SIP number I've specified to complete the call?

For example if my number is 02 1111 1111 and I get a call from 02 2222 2222. What's happening now is if I get a call from 02 2222 222 and attempt to transfer to 02 3333 3333, the outbound caller id displayed is 02 2222 2222, is there any way to get it to display 02 1111 1111 if you get what im trying to say?

Thanks

In the 3CX outbound trunk settings, there are several options that determine from where caller ID is taken. At the moment it is probably set to send the Originators Caller ID. You may be able to make a change that will always send the "main" trunk number, however, any changes made are going to affect all calls on that trunk group, and may have some undesired consequences. Tread carefully.

This deals with the reverse of your problem, but shows some of the fields involved
