There is a feature request at http://3cx.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Add--Mobile-Twinning--to-3CX/95137-9854 called "Add 'Mobile Twinning' to 3CX" that includes this:
Whilst talking to me, he returned to his desk and was able to switch the call back to his desk phone seamlessly, without having to disconnect, redial, put me on hold, or anything like that.

This feature request has been marked as "completed" about three months ago.

We are using the ability to forward calls to a mobile number. However, there are many times where I am able to walk back into my office while on a forwarded call and need to transfer it back to my desk phone so that I stop using mobile minutes/battery and can utilize the features on my desk phone.

Has this really been implemented, or does the idea/feature request need to be re-opened?

Thanks,
Sam

I received confirmation from the folks at 3CX that this idea was marked as complete by mistake. Hopefully that will be corrected soon.

It was mentioned that this would require implementing dial codes, which are currently not available. The dial code functionality is what would hear the *2[extension] from the cell phone and then manipulate the call.

I personally could live with just requiring interaction using MyPhone to do the transfer back. Maybe that would be a quicker path to implementation?

In the meantime, if this feature would be useful to you, please go vote it up at http://3cx.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Add--Mobile-Twinning--to-3CX/95137-9854 .

Thanks,
Sam
