I'm using a 3rd party (TraySoft) DLL for integrating 3cx to our application.
Most of the application are supported like Dialing and Answering calls.
The issue that we are currently facing is the 3cx is not supporting the Answer() functionality of TAPI.
I have inquired with Traysoft and they are saying that 3cx TAPI driver is not supporting the Answer() functionality plus other things.
Anything we can do about it as we need to take the call from within our application and not from the 3cx client?
Reply from Traysoft:
3CX TAPI driver (Telephony Service Provider or TSP) for the 3CX system doesn’t support Answer() function. 3CX TSP appears to be very basic and has very limited functionality. It supports incoming call notifications and making outgoing calls but doesn’t support call control features like answer, redirect, 2-step transfer, conferences etc.
It will not work with basic Microsoft TAPI or any other TAPI library. It’s a limitation of the TAPI driver provided by 3CX.
