Trunk Limit in 3CX Multi-Tenant

Hi Experts,

We are currently working with a multi-tenant setup in 3CX and would like some clarification regarding the trunk limit setting.

Specifically, we configured the trunk limit to 1 for Department A, but we found that it was still possible to configure more than one trunk for that department. This seems to contradict our understanding of what the trunk limit is intended to control.

Could someone please explain what the trunk limit actually means in a multi-tenant environment?

Hello @ACL,

As System Owner, you are able to add more trunks regardless of the configuration limit on the Department options.
The limit is for the Department Owner role. If you log in as Department Owner, then you will not be able to create a second trunk.
