Hello everyone,

I upgraded from V18 to V20.

I used trunks that were not "validated" by 3CX in the V18 and everything worked perfectly.

Following the update, I found the trunks but the behavior is erratic.

For some I had errors in the "unreachable" logs with DNS errors" while the destination was good.

All the trunks were registered and now they are all unregistered and I have no information in the logs. As if trunks didn’t exist and they weren’t trying to connect.

I tried to create new trunk and it’s the same problem.

I configured the trunks directly on a phoneto check and they all register...

Frankly apart from a beug, I do not understand!

Thanks for your help.

Julien

Hi Julien,
Can you please check that the ip(s) of the trunks were not blacklisted

Hi IliasL,

Unfortunately no...

The problem appeared after a firewall check.

I restarted 3cx (systemctl reboot) and the Trunks registered again.

But now they’re all KO and I don’t know what to look for...

Hello !

Have you some news ?

Thank you !

Hello,

There could be several reasons as to why a trunk does not register/process calls,

you can try to check the Events from a webclient and make minor adjustments and observe the results
i.e. If you get a DNS error message try to change the DNS server on the machine (i.e. to 8.8.8.8)
or if you get an error message check from which IP the error message is coming
or you can use wireshark to check whether the requests from the pbx are being answered so that the pbx configuration can be checked (also ensure that traffic is not being dropped on the network level)
