Trying to remotely update an extension on Yealink phone

Hello,

I'm trying to remotely update an extension on a Yealink phone through the 3CX console. So far it's not letting me change the extension number, it's greyed out. I changed the provisioned phone under the Phone Provisiong tab to match the MAC address of the phone and it won't update. Any ideas?

You have to delete the phone from the existing extension within the 3cx mangement console to change the ext number

setup the new extension , adding the correct MAC address.

reboot the phone and it should reprovision - if not do it within the phone gui

use the provisioning link under phones tab for the extension
