I have been running a self-hosted system running on a server in my basement.
I have not been doing anything serious with it and I am not able to meet the requirements to upgrade to V20.
I decided to sign up for the system 3CX offers for 10 users.
I have this system up and running and a single phone assigned.
I've been working on trying to get the Polycom phone switched from my previous 3CX system to the new 3CX system.
In the middle of this process today after having been logged out I attempted to log back in and received a message IP Blacklisted.
I finally got the phone reset and it gave a successful provision message but from the screen it's not properly provisioned to the line on my new 3CX system.
This may be due to my IP being blacklisted. The VM hosting my 3CX system and the SBC I had running still need to be shut down so that could be an issue as well.
Any help resolving this issue would be appreciated.

I should make a couple of updates.
I have shut down the 3CX server and SBC that I had running. I also had a Windows 10 VM running that handled the provisioning of some older phones I had been using. I shut this down as well.
I manually programmed the Polycom phone with my 3CX provisioning URL that I received in the welcome email.
What I am unsure of is the username and password that is loaded in the phone. There are values in there that likely need to be changed just as the provisioning URL needed to be. I'm not sure what to put there.
Provisioning was not successful as I said above. I misspoke. It was unsuccessful.
Time and date are out of sync. The first line has a handset with a red dot and VVX400 next to it.

For 3CX SMB you need an SBC to provision your phone.

I do not believe that is the version I'm running.
I'm using the same version in the ad at the bottom of this forum.
I believe this is the hosted version.
At this point I can't do anything at all.
I cannot even log into my account.
My IP is blacklisted.
If that is going to happen on a regular basis I won't be able to use this at all.
Since I'm not using any paid services I don't believe I can even request assistance from 3CX.
I don't even understand why my IP would have been blacklisted.I'm not even using this yet.

Phones require an SBC or router phone. https://www.3cx.com/ordering/pricing/hosted-info/. Without one the phone is likely failing to connect and triggering the block.
I had an SBC running when I hosted my own system.
The details of that SBC are programmed with that previous system's information.
I cannot currently log in at the moment to get the details I would need to change because my IP is blocked.
I would need to be able to log in to my account to get the provisioning URL and activation ID.
How would I go about getting this information or getting my IP unbanned so I can complete these steps?
I'm not even able to get a different supported phone because of this banned IP.

Might be easier to just reinstall the SBC. Free/SMB accounts don't have access to the blacklist page, you need to stop the failed login (unplug or factory reset the phone?) and wait 24 hours, or contact 3CX support to have them remove the block.

You can also log in from any other IP.

You have to wait 24 hours for it to unban or open a ticket with 3CX to have it removed.

You have to buy support for the free version- So only option is to wait - Ask me how I know- 1hr in on a new acct I am locked out- Unbelievable!

I decided to attempt to log into my account from another location.
I was successful. I didn't attempt any provisioning operations I just looked up the information I needed such as the web GUI password of the phone I assigned.
I got the provisioning URL and I also configured an SBC. I copied the necessary information for the SBC.
I did self hosting until just the other day when I figured out I was not going to be able to satisfy the requirements to upgrade to V20.
I had an SBC running as well. I'm planning on trying to modify the parameters in my current SBC. If I'm not able to I'll just spin up another VM SBC with the new parameters.
From the suggestions above I need an SBC running to make the provisioning work and prevent being blacklisted.
If that doesn't work keeping 3CX isn't worth it.
Apparently being blacklisted is common.
Good luck to you Wacsinc

Well I thought I had made huge progress.
I built a new SBC and got it up and running successfully.
I was finally able to log into my 3CX account. I got all of the provisioning details I thought I needed and got logged into the admin web interface of the phone and plugged all the values in.
Then I rebooted the phone.
It came up successfully!! It has the correct provisioned line on it 2x along with the time, the 3CX logo and 3 soft buttons.
The only issue now is both lines have a red dot on them.
I came back and started looking at the fields to see if I could figure out what to do about the red dots.
I had to walk away for a little bit and when I came back I had to refresh the page and it came up to a login screen.
My IP is blacklisted again.

Did you provisioned the phone over the sbc? If not, you got blacklisted again.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
I'm using the provisioning URL provided in the IP Phone tab details.
I have my SBC selected as the "Routing Device"
I was successful with the phone provisioning this evening.
I can make calls between this phone and between the mobile app I have configured.
At this moment I can log into my 3CX Dashboard, however, I am seeing several of this same log messages that preceded my IP being blacklisted. There has to be a way to stop this from happening. The system is making a request. The error message is:

SIP request (REGISTER) from [MY.PUBLIC.IP.ADDRESS] was rejected. Reason: Block WAN requests is ON.

I do not have a SIP provider at this moment. I don't know why there is a SIP request. Can I stop these requests?

Is there a way to turn off "Block WAN requests?"

There are 4 or 5 of these log messages yesterday. Maybe it was at that point my IP was blacklisted again.

I'm happy with my progress so far.

Thanks in advance for all the assistance so far.

It's not trying to connect through the SBC, looks like. STUN phones require a custom template in v20 and I don't think that's allowed on Free/SMB.

The page says VVX 400 is "tested with 3CX Phone System V15.5"...possibly it doesn't work with v20? Step 1 is to unzip the .zip file on the server which also isn't going to work with Free/SMB.

Seems easier/better to use a current phone...or an app/web client/etc.

Well, the Polycom phone I've been trying to use is working successfully.
I can make calls between this phone and the mobile apps I installed on my cell and my wife's cell.

I know my self-hosted 3CX is going to lose "full functionality" and downgrade to a "1SC" key.
I have no idea what that means. I've tried to search the 3CX site but I can't find anything.
If it would work as a glorified intercom system that would be cool. We would just just the old phones connected to that system for that.
I would like to link the two but it doesn't appear that SMB Free 10 has bridge capability.
