Good morning,

I have for some reason two instances running on my account that is conflicting with DNS. I don't remember setting up two, but I now have to access the correct instance by IP address rather than hostname.

Who would I contact to see on how to take down the incorrect instance and make sure the DNS is working on the other?

Thank you,

LCAdmin

Where you say two instances, guessing this is one license , one 3CX FQDN but the fqdn is reporting two IP addresses.

Connect to the 3CX management console, under settings - network settings. What are your settings for 'External IP Configuration'

If static - does the IP address match your wan IP. If it does not, change the IP, if it does change it to dynamic.

From looking at the IP's, looks like both are hosted in Google Cloud, so both are dynamic addresses.
The instance I don't want anymore has network settings, the other instance that we want up does not have that option

Hi @lcadmin

Did you ever install a free hosted version of 3CX for evaluation?

We did to test 3CX. I was also told someone else had set one up as well but didn't tell us about it. Is there a way I can shut down the instance I don't want anymore?

Thank you

Hi @lcadmin

Please send me a p.m. with the instance details so we can look into it.
