Ubiquiti Android based desk phones

Has anyone tried these with 3CX? I have a site where they would like to use the phones touchscreen to run a google play app to access their HVAC controls from the desk. I am happy to buy one to experiment with the App side of things, but only if I am sure it has a chance of being successfully integrated with 3CX!

We did try the Grandstream 2200 model some time back but this was not successful at that time (more to do with app compatibility than 3CX config IIRC).

I was under the impression the Ubiquiti phones were proprietary to their PBX and couldn't be sued on other systems. I may be wrong.
