UK Caller ID - Suitable Gateway

Can anyone advise a suitable gateway that will do UK Caller ID from PSTN via Digital Receptionist, reading through some posts, I am confused (not hard at the moment) saying DR doesnt pass through. Just for the sake of testing I tried an (unsuported) SPA400 coz I've got one on the config supplied here, yep it works but just like on the SPA9000 I get no caller ID...

I would advise you ask your telco what CID standard is being used on your line. Most parts of europe are using ETSI FSK, the US is mainly Bellcore FSK. If I am not mistaken BT (U.K) have a propriety FSK standard. If you buy a gateway that does ESTI and Bellcore you still might have problems so it's best if you check first.

Have you ever tried getting anything technical out of BT?
I had hoped someone would say 'Yes, the such and such gateway works'
I am aware of your approved list hopefully you will know of one which does from the list?
