Solved unable to add a mac to an extension

im trying to move a phone from one extension to another.

ive removed the phone at the first extension via the delete button
and tried to add it on the new extension but i get the following message.

This Phone / MAC belongs to Extension HD00001. Choose another Phone / MAC

ive tried to remove the complete extension but still i get the same message.

HD is a HotDesking Extension.
