Hi,

Trying to do an upgrade / move to Digitalocean and had to restart from backup on a new droplet a couple of times. Now I finally have the right server size and config (with IPv6 enabled), but get the following error:

Unable to connect with 3CX License server. Check your network and try again.

Is there a limit on the times one can contact the server per hour/day/month?

Hi there.
Can you please advise what is the 3CX System version and build number?

Sorry, many thanks for the fast reply.
Version 20.0.0.1620OS, the standard V20 Droplet from Digitalocean.

That is very odd, as it should activate just fine.
Do you have any firewall restrictions for the outgoing traffic to activate.3cx.com ?

No, it worked 2 or 3 times flawlessly. That's why I gave it another shot with the config I wanted...

Sounds like a networking issue on that machine and it can't reach the activation server.

Ok, did some testing.
Disabled the droplet and created a new one with only IPV4, which went without a hitch.
Then tried to make a another one with IPV4 and IPV6 address and get the error again while uploading the backup.

Could it be that the license server does not work as well with IPV6 machines?

All 3CX-hosted machines have IPv6, so it should not be the case.
