Hi,

We've just updated to 15.5 and been told that we can now make calls solely through the web client (I.e. from a Chromebook). We can connect the headset (Jabra 920) via USB, and the headset works fine for regular audio / mic.

Once we make the call, the ring comes through the headset, but as soon as the other person picks up, no audio / mic sound happens. I tried running a youtube video in the background to see if it was the audio that was cutting out, but I could still hear the youtube video with no sound from the call. I rang another extension (That had just come off another call, so we know it works) and the headset I have been using to test works perfectly fine as well.

I tried changing the PBX options in our user settings but no luck, this doesn't seem to have worked. Unfortunately I don't have access to our server, so I cannot produce logs or anything along those lines, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I'm using Chrome 69 on Windows 1803 and I too get no sound and no video (when trying the new videocall option) through webclient softphone (3CX v15.5 SP6). In wireshark I'm seeing no WebRTC traffic and in Chrome network debug I see no traffic at all. Are there any instructions on how to setup the new webclient softphone? I'm using default HTTPS port 5001.

You don't say if this is being used locally to the 3CX Server and if not, is it using STUN, behind and an SBC? Are there multiple devices at this site?
The ringback tone you hear probably originates with the App, but you don't receive audio once cut through. It may be the the voice packets are not able to reach the chromebook, for some reason. Could be a networking issue, or a setting.
