Hi,

We have an instillation of 3cx, only one user (the one who set it up) is able to access the console while anyone else on he network is unable to access it. Under console restrictions it is set to allow logins from anywhere and the public IP has been whitelisted. When trying to navigate to the console the error "Error 403 Forbidden" appears. We have updated the console to the latest version possible before BETA and are still experiencing the issue.

Any ideas?

How does the user that can get on it access it? what URL?

Are you using the same URL and on the same network?

If you do a search for your problem, there are a few posts already about this issue.

Hi John,

  • Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES / NO

  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? AWS Lightsail
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware All on 3CX Softphone
  • Provisioning Method: Local / VPN / STUN / SBC – Only using Softphones does this still apply?

Since the 3CX windows app, webclient and mobile app use the same port as the management console to provision themselves and show status/presence, do those features also stop working?

Hi John,

I am not sure what you mean,

The 3cx system I use works fine and the end user's are able to use their 3cx system for calls.

You were saying that only one PC can reach the management console.

Can the other PCs (which can't) try to so see if they can reach the webclient page?

Hi,

I am able to reach the web client on my company and I was able to login.

Ok that's great, it means that the port is open.
This port shows the webclient, and the management console (they share the same one).

Since the PBX is in the cloud, you can start a private conversation with me and send me your FQDN.

I will try from here and see if I can reach your management console.

Ok I can reach it successfully from here, which confirms your PBX is healthy.

If your PCs cannot, it probably means there is something in your office firewall or proxy if you use one.

It turns out a brand new machine connected to the network can also access the PBX, what could there be on my computer that is causing the issue?
