UNABLE TO SPA-3102 TO REGISTER

I have gone through most posts regarding setting up the SPA-3102 on 3cx phone system and gone through different suggested configuration settings but I can't get the SPA-3102 to register on 3cx system.
Line1 registers ok after putting the proxy ip address and user id, auth id and password, I can call and recieve calls from the phone connected to SPA-3102. However, the pstn line shows that registration state as failed. the Sip port is 5061.
I would appreciate any suggestions that you may think might help.

PSTN Tab, User ID & Auth ID should be the same. Fix first and test. I would also recommend having the Line 1 and PSTN on different ports (Line 1 = 5060, PSTN = 5061). I haven't read through the rest so not sure if anything else. Often you find it is a chicken and egg thing.

try this.

Setup 3CX first for the line id using a login and authentication, once done use the same login and authentication on the SPA

(setup 3cx first than the spa).

Make sure you save and reboot the spa.

Thanks Mirzab and Itfarmer your suggestions worked. I think where I was going wrong was not restarting the device - The device is now registered in 3cx system. Now I have to figure out dial plans - I shall be reading your other posts for further info. Once again thanks.
