Unexpected hold music

Hi All,

Another slight issue with one of my deployments.

I have a complex call flow for inbound calls, that under different scenarios will end up with the receptionist voicemail, but via an IVR with the required greeting. The Receptionist mailbox has a blank greeting to avoid two greetings being played.

The issue now is there appears to be a very slight pause where the hold music is played from the end of the IVR and before hitting the voice mail. The caller hears "blah blah please leave your message after the beep" "Hold music" "beep"

Is there a way to avoid this?

Just to add to this..

The on hold music doesn't appear to be the default music, but a piano. It is very brief.

I read on another thread about disabling "Supports Re-Invite" for the trunk. This is a BRI gateway, but I disabled this setting and it appears to have done the trick for now. I hope this doesn't cause any more issues however.

Just an update for all, I believe I have solved the issue by disabling supports re-invite on the SIP trunk to the ISDN gateway.
