Previously when we were running the Windows edition of 3CX, when users installed the 3CX Windows client it would appear under ‘Phones’ (similar to how an unprovisioned Yealink phone would appear in Plug and Play mode) and we could click ‘Assign Ext’ to provision the client without local user intervention, however since switching to Debian for 3CX the clients only show up once provisioned and connected (as per the documented ‘Double-click or tap on the attachment’ method).
Can anyone confirm if this is expected behaviour on Debian, or has something gone wrong in the conversion from Windows to Debian?
