On-Prem Debian 3CX server version 16.0.273. Web clients are logging in and seemingly work with every function except actually dialing another phone. On the 3CX management console it shows the web clients as "WebRTC" with a Firmware version of "Proxy", an IP address of 127,0.0.1 and the MAC address as "UNPROVISIONED". Using Google Chrome it shows the Yealink desktop phones in use and I can choose "Web Client" at the chooser at the top of screen. At this point I should be able to dial a phone number from the browser and it dials it, but instead, it pops up an Error window stating "Requested device not found".

It feels like I've got a feature disabled, does anybody have any suggestions?

If the PC does not have a microphone, would that stop the call with "device not found"?

Is is correct to see "Unprovisioned" for the MAC address?

In the upper right of the web client you'd need to pick the phone, in order to dial with the web client and have it call out with the phone.

The web client does show as "unprovisioned" when I log in.

Hi

The way it appears in the phones section is normal, that should not be cause for alarm.

The fact that you cannot make calls is a separate issue. If there is no microphone plugged in, you will indeed get the error "Requested device not found".

Your PC needs a mic/headset or a softphone to transmit voice ! :P
