Unsupported SIP trunk set up

Trying to set up a SIP trunk provider that is not on the preapproved list in the US. Instructions received from the SIP trunk provider is telling us to select Generic out of the Select Country drop down. I do not see Generic as an option in the Country Drop down or the Provider drop down after selecting US.

Where do I find instructions for connecting a SIP trunk provider that is not on the list?

Important to note that 3CX recommends using only preferred and supported providers.

If your system is installed as hosted by 3CX, you cannot use the Generic SIP Trunk provider.

Generic SIP Trunk provider can be added only when self-managing and in this case, the support with any potential issues will be limited.

To connect generic SIP Trunk, you would need to search for Generic in the Country dropdown.

You won't see Generic if Hosted on 3CX directly as there are restrictions.
