Update 5 Release Candidate Now Available

I just had the "Spaceballs" quote pop in my head.

Automatic updates also then? Didn't realize that. We turn those off unless we're rolling out an update.

Hi

But the Problem with the Status in the Chat Department is fixed with the .551 Version, what we had in the beta and RC.

Maybe @MichaelB_3CX can light it up, if the .551 is the hidden RC2.

We will release RC2 as final on monday. So far we have only released to trials and NFRs

I don't see this update anywhere, even on my NFRs. Still at .538

Not in the usual way. Only on the console or when automatic updates are active.

I have autoupdates enabled. I had to use the /beta download URL to get it.

Are there any new updates on Reporting 2.0? We are running on Version 20.0 Update 5 (Build 551 Release) but still see the "old" version of reports. Any future dates?

This has been moved to Update 6, so it should be in the next release....

Thank you, Ernesto. Any approximate date when Update 6 will be released or expected?

3CX doesn't provide dates, because they want to be sure it's ready and tested. So they take the time they need to release it with the quality you deserve. Usually it's between 1 and 2 months to have at least an alpha or beta to try, maybe 3 months for the final release. But this is speculation....

Thank you @edossantos_sipcaller ... Ernesto is right its difficult to give an exact date. The reporting update involves a complete rewrite of our reporting and logging engine and it was basically more work than expected. We are pretty much done but we need to go thru a complete test process. Expect about a month....

Any news on the Multi-Tenant phonebook per department? Hopefully in the next release...

I am not able to test the update on a professional license, what's the current status on the configuration API?
does it still says it's for enterprise only?
I'm asking because of this post
Just wanted to make sure if the configuration API will be an enterprise only feature or not
hello,

any news on this?
a professional license with update 5 shows

I'm still not sure whether I can use the XAPI for professional licenses or not
Asking this because we had a useful solution to monitor and alert us for problems in our installations, and since we have updated most of our instances, we are currently missing this. I don't want to start converting the scripts to the new config API and have it not work because it requires an enterprise license

XAPI still works using the old login method with a system owner... stick to that if needed.

You need an Enterprise licence to use the API.1741948870028.png

yeah I saw that, but this post says that the configuration API will not require enterprise.

And yes I have no problem authenticating with user and password, but it feels like circumventing a license limitation. I'm still using the API but authenticating with a different method?

Hmm, thats true. I am not sure the blog post is wrong or the post. @N_G could you clarify this for us?

ah yes... the configuration API is available in all editions, but the Call API for for example making an AI bot or something is part of enterprise.... So there are two APIs, maybe the doc is wrong or out of date we will check

Thanks @N_G,

right now in the API integration page the save button is disabled for professional license. Based on what you said above it should be something like this, correct?
