Update 7A - Focus on Security

Would have to add default Debian repo to have these packages available, which would be a mess, as 3CX repo is a Debian "frozen" and "shorten" one.
snmpd : used to monitor the server through SNMP : CPU, memory, swap, disk usage, processes... The most common way to monitor a production server...
smartmontools : used to monitor physical disks (SMART status, bad sectors...), and as a result mandatory on a physical production server...
It then makes sense to have then back into the 3CX repo.
Thanks for explaining, we run our servers in Azure, so there is monitoring and alerting provided that way for us.

You might get a bit more traction if you create a post in the self-hosted/on-prem forums as well.

@Nick Galea, @3CX_devteam, more or less related to security topic, but please put the following packages back into your 3CX Debian packages repository :
snmpd
smartmontools

We absolutely need them to properly monitor our 3CX servers...
Thank you very much for your support & understanding !

@Nick Galea sorry to bother you with this again (now that the storm has almost passed), did you manage to see this internally with your devteam / systeam ?
This is really important :)

Thank you again !

FYI: Under the extension -> Voicemail, Manage Voicemail Greeting - the link to the docs is inop.

I had pointed out to 3CX the converter download didn’t work. My post was tagged Under Review and the page was subsequently taken down. Just the upload part has been posted since then but got the same Cloudflare error for me.

We need to apply critical + security updates within 14 days of release but as update 7A is still in the Alpha > Beta > Release Candidate phase we're watching and waiting for that "Final" release drop.

Is there an ETA for 7A Final release? Would be great to at least know roughly when this is planned for to assist planning and upgrading.

Its part of update 8 and beta will be in 1-2 days with release hopefully quite soon, say 1-2 weeks

Excellent thanks Nick, we'll pencil that in.
