Hello, today we tried to upgrade our locally hosted 3CX server from version 16 to 18.
When selecting update, the system informed that the entire process would take around 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes we tried to enter the 3CX Management Console and we are not able to, when entering the login and password the message "server error" appears

What can we do? Can you help us?

Thank you for your help

To Complete:
  • 3CX Version, Professional 16.0. something else
  • Server OS, Debian 9
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? On-premises
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware version, Yealink T46U version 108.86.0.20
  • Provisioning Method: Local
  • Trunk Provider or VoIP Gateway Make/Model, Net2Phone
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

What you can do is wait. 20 minutes is an estimate. You can also check the admin/notification email as 3CX sends an email when the pre-upgrade backup is complete, and then an email with the log (success or fail). If you got the backup email but not one after that, it's probably still upgrading.

Are you still facing an issue with this or did it successfully upgrade? Please do provide the log you received via email if it failed.
