Hi Costantinos.
Thanks for your job!
I've a feedback, since we had install the 3CX client on Terminal Servers, and lots of users connect to them through RDP, no ones of them was able to perform the upgrade because it required that all the instance on 3cx wasn't in use, and if they ignore the upgrade it prompts again againg untill it was done.
We are able to perform the upgrade outside working hours, while no users are connected, but for all day no one was able to use 3CX client properly due the continuos upgrade request.
There is any way to notify the administrator, in order to perform the upgrade in a proper time, and leave the users free to work with the old version untill the admin perform the upgrade?
Thanks,
Irene

Hi,

when creating a new webmeeting, there is no autocomplete anymore. When creating an audio only meeting this still works and the numbers of the employees are shown. Switching to video breaks it immediately. This is currently a big issue due to the high amount of webmeetings created during the day. You now have to copy and paste the full email address of all the internal attendees.

Regarding the new direct voicemail call I hope this can be disabled in a future. We have disabled voicemail for all our extensions because we do not use this feature. Now when you search for a contact in the 3CX client, in the results the contact itself is displayed and also the voicemail number with “*4” in front of the number. Please give us the option to disable this in the results.

Cheers, Timo

Hello @Tm99 ,
Can you please provide more information about you points:
1. What do you mean by autocomplete on WebMeeting conferences? We can see that autocomplete is there for existing extensions and contacts.
2. You are searching for contact or for extension?

Hi Constantinos,

please find attached two pictures which should make the problem more clear. It happens only when creating video conferences and is not working for internal extensions. Autocomplete for contacts are working fine.

Agreed. Doesn't matter if you search by number/extension or name. Please, just don't show this item, if voicemail is disabled for the extension.

Regarding the autocomplete bug, it seems only to be a problem with 3CX version 16.0.504. We did not installed the Update 5 yet because the PBX is still running under Windows Server 2012 R2.

I tested another installation with Update 5 and autocomplete works fine. Due to the fact that we cannot install the Update for now (downtime and planed restructure of the voice vlan), can you fix it for Update 4 installations?

Can you please confirm if those extensions do have email addresses? In my case I get the autocomplete in cases that internal extensions has email addresses.

What is the version of the 3CX Windows App that you have installed?

Okay, this specific meeting rooms do not have any email addresses but it is the same when entering name of extensions with a email address.

What should I say about that, we are talkin about the current 3CX App for Windows, Build 16.3.0.144, May 2020

HI Constantinos

I have issues with the 3cx client not being compatible with the video codex H264. I am using Fanvil door phones and really need to be able to use the video features. When will support for this codex be implemented?

thanks

We will try to improve this in the future, so you can deploy the update manually at a time that is good for you. The update notification will remain in the management console Updates section, and unless you download it, the users will not be notified.

Hi Costantinos,

I'm currently involved in one project as a freelancer and I have to spend some time in the office of the customer.
As usual in corporate environment, there is a proxy server in his network infrastructure used to access the internet.
Unfortunately, the Windows App cannot connect and I've found no settings to configure a web-proxy in the App.

Am I blind or the Windows Client App really cannot operate behind proxy? that would be little bit sad....

@Mickeyrose - you need to use the webclient for H264 feeds, this works OK. 3CX apps will not support H264.
