I want to know that if upgrade 3CX 16SC PRO To 32SC ENT with the new partner, is there upgrade cost addition to 32SC ENT?
Can I upgrade by myself or through partner only?

The cost for the upgrade (difference between the two levels) will be prorated based on the remaining days to your license.

You can buy direct, or via a partner. Usually it will be the same price, although some partners (like us) do pass some of the margin to customers.

In my case, I'm using the old license type and if I renew my license, new partner said I cannot renew "have to buy new license type with appropriate maximum users/ext / have to set-up from scratch".
If upgrade, I have to pay for the upgrade fee (32SC ENT + upgrade fee).
Want to know that this upgrade fee is in the 3CX policy or just partner service fee? Because this fee is 1/3 of the license price.

3. Value-Added Services: While the license price is fixed, partners typically provide a separate 'Service & Support' contract. This covers the technical expertise required to manage SIP trunks, firewall security, and custom call flows, critical services that ensure your business never misses a call.
4. Internal Review: I will be looking into this specific case personally and will communicate directly with both you and the partner involved to ensure our standards of transparency and fairness are being met

Not sure what "old license type" you might have. Perpetual licenses have been gone for years.

This makes no sense to me. The license must indeed meet the Users Count you have, but those are indicated in the pricing page, you can easily check which one corresponds to your amount of users.

Then, the license itself has a cost to upgrade, which is prorated. If the partner charges an "upgrade fee" on top of that, that's on them. Maybe they provide something for it.

@PCHI If one clicks Upgrade in the portal, it adds "hosted by 3CX" by default...perhaps this partner is seeing that? Just uncheck that...

When clicking Upgrade, by default it leaves the same license level and size but adds Hosted automatically and you cannot uncheck it.

To uncheck it, you need to select another license level or size, so it becomes an actual upgrade, the checkbox then becomes uncheckable.

Right. But that's what OP wanted. Otherwise adding hosting is the only available upgrade (for self hosted) while keeping the level and SC.
