Upgrade from v14 to v15 and keep the same provisioning path

I want to update my 3CX system from v14 to v15 but need to keep our provisioning path the same so I won't need to update the provisioning profile rule all of our remote Cisco 504G phones.

In the past, updating the version and restoring the backup seemed to change the provision folder location. Is there a way to keep the provisioning folder the same after restoring the data on the updated v15 system?

Or, once the update/restore is complete, can I just change the "PROVISIONING_FOLDER" parameter (and move/rename files as required) to keep the provisioning profile path the same?

Hello there,

I believe your issue will be greater that the provisioning folder as in V15 cisco SPA phones are not supported as remote extensions. Cisco phones do not support Https connections and v15 web server does not accept Http connections from remote locations. As for the provisioning path i would recommend not changing it from the custom parameters as this may cause additional issues with provisioning.

Thanks for the reply. I did not realize the Cisco SPA limitation. I think I'll stick with v14 for now.
