Yes you should still get 8SC. Otherwise, upgrading to a Std or Pro 8SC is extremely cheap.

No you cannot use console restrictions on Hosted.

The procedure is simple.

You can reinstall your subscription and choose "Hosted by 3CX" option and click "Next"




On the next step you can chose to restore your backup (backup size must be less than 1024MB).
If your backup size is more than 1024MB you can always restore it after the installation finish.

Move v16 to 3CX hosting then upgrade to V18?
Should the backup include license key?

@tony28 you can have your backup from v16 latest service pack, upload it to the 3cx Deployment Wizard in your portal and start the hosting with 3cx.
The Deployment Wizard will convert your backup and the installation will be on v18 with your data.
Yes backup must have subscription key and FQDN or else you will not be able to upload it.
Only v18 is deployed on our hosting platform!!

@NikosT_3CX since 3CX hosting have no access to License Key Tab (and replace license key function),
-if I need to downgrade from 8SC to 4SC with current license, what do I need to do, if I cannot change license?

Key replacement is not possible on a Hosted by 3CX instance.

>> you may login to your portal ( https://portal.3cx.com ) and open a chat with our Customers Service Team.
Or you may drop them an email " [email protected] " and the Team will assist you directly on that.

>> You just login to your portal, select your key and click Upgrade, that's it.
